In the name of God
Prevention is prior to treatment and a sound mind in sound body. In other word, early prevention will be more effective and useful. "Reproductive Health" includes all preventive and diagnostic services in some important part of our life such as childhood, adolescence,
puberty, pregnancy period and menopause. "FROM BIRTH TO DEATH"
These activities prevent different diseases and help to treat them in a best way, also will decrease burden of diseases in the next periods of every one's life and the last outcome will be increasing life satisfaction index.
For example, appropriate nutritional pattern in childhood and adolescence and efficient exercises in these periods cause low prevalence of anemia, osteoporosis, and cardiovascular disorders. For another example, performing genetic assay before birth such as CVS, Amniocentesis and sonography in case of pregnancy over 35 years causes low incidence of neonatal abnormalities and decreasing next terrible complications.
Also early diagnoses of sexual transmitted infections reduce infertility and gynecologic cancers. Therefore, these team work and multidisciplinary performance increase health level of families, particularly women.
We hope "Reproductive Health program" become a preferred priority to reply community needs.
